What if I don't have information for an accurate birth time?
     It's essential to have an accurate birth time. The planets in the sky are constantly moving and your birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact time of your birth. If your birth time is wrong, your Rising sign, Moon, houses and other important birth chart anchors will be inaccurate. If you can narrow the time down between 1-2 hours you should be able to get a good idea of your Moon sign, and possibly even your rising sign, though not exact. 

1. If your birth certificate doesn't list your time of birth, try locating your long form birth certificate by contacting the local government office that manages birth records.
2. Ask family members of their recollections - you may be able to get a little closer to the time of birth which could be helpful.
3. Check family items - baby books, family albums, bibles, scrapbooks, etc. 
4. Get your chart rectified by an astrologer who specializes in this technique.

     The other option is to use the time of 12 p.m. for the birth time. The focus will be on the placement of planets in signs and how they interact with each other, but will exclude the rising sign, house placements and other birth chart angles.
