Healing Arts - Regarding massage therapy services during COVID-19 I know this is a long read, but please read in its entirety… I recognize that these past months have been a challenging time for all of us. I hope that you are healthy and well and managing the best that you are able. Even with the most rigorous sanitation protocols, enhanced client screening, and social distancing precautions, there is still risk of COVID-19 transmission involved. [And if you haven’t already read enough on it, here is a link to yet another informative article: The Risks - Know Them - Avoid Them.] If you are not yet ready to schedule an appointment, I totally understand. If you feel you are in a high risk group, please wait to schedule. Healing Arts has always strived to maintain best practices for your safety. With the COVID-19 situation there is extra cleaning and disinfecting between client sessions. As of 11.11.20 Masks are now mandated - see IDPH summary above. In addition, the following are recommended practices and guidelines from health agencies and massage therapy associations which will be implemented: Before each appointment:
At the present time facial massage and cupping therapy will not be offered. Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have about the new protocols. Currently Healing Arts is scheduling appointments at Amy’s Salon on Wednesdays and Thursdays and the second Friday of the month. Know that I am so very thankful for your business and your patience with this process to keep everyone safe.
