Healing Arts - Re-opened as of May 18th
I know this is a long read, but please read in its entirety…
Regarding COVID-19 - Healing Arts re-opening:
I recognize that these past few months have been a challenging time for all of us. I hope that you are healthy and well and managing the best that you are able.
Update - Governor Reynolds announced May 14th that massage therapy businesses were among those who could open May 15th. Healing Arts re-opened the week of May 18th. Scheduling appointments is now underway. (This will be a slow re-open to see how things go and please understand I will not be able to get everyone scheduled immediately.)
Even with the most rigorous sanitation protocols, enhanced client screening, and social distancing precautions, there is still risk of COVID-19 transmission involved. [And if you haven’t already read enough on it, here is a link to yet another informative article: The Risks - Know Them - Avoid Them.]
If you are not yet ready to schedule an appointment, I totally understand. If you feel you are in a high risk group, please wait to schedule.
Healing Arts has always strived to maintain best practices for your safety. The treatment room has recently been deep cleaned, sanitized and disinfected. With the COVID-19 situation there is extra cleaning and disinfecting between client sessions. Masks are recommended. (Due to the nature of massage, there is no way to maintain CDC recommended 6 foot social distance.) In addition, the following are recommended practices and guidelines from health agencies and massage therapy associations which will be implemented:

Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have about the new protocols.
Know that I am so very thankful for your business and your patience with this process to keep everyone safe. It's great to be getting back to the work that I love and the work that helps keep you well.
