Live life in Balance. Zero Balancing (ZB) is a subtle yet powerful technique for releasing tension in the body through a series of gentle stretches and finger pressure (fulcrums). ZB focuses on the whole person, even when addressing specific needs. ZB creates a point of stillness where the mind quiets, the energy fields organize and internal reorientation occurs.

Touch for Health 14 Muscle Balance
Touch for Health is a practical, non-invasive, complementary therapy designed to balance the body's energy system. In the 14 Muscle "balance as you go" session the 14 muscles relating to the 14 energy meridians of the body are monitored to see if they are "switched on". If a muscle is "switched off", the corresponding reflex is gently stimulated to balance the system. This is an interactive participatory technique (and you remain fully clothed during the muscle monitoring) which may be done either standing or lying down.

Experience a Body "Reset" session - integration of bodywork and energywork techniques to relax and "reset" the mind and body. Deeply relaxing, the session includes releasing tension held in the rib cage and low back. (To experience this session, one should be comfortable lying face up on the table and wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes.)

Relax for an hour with a Shiatsu or "finger pressure" massage, which addresses the acupressure points along the meridians that flow throughout the body.

Relax for an hour with a Swedish massage. Almond-scented massage cream is used for a soothing massage.

Cupping therapy uses various vacuum cups to utilize negative pressure to increase blood flow to skin and muscles, release rigid soft tissues, lift connective tissue, loosen adhesions, and drain excess fluids and toxins.
Cupping therapy may be combined with a massage or experienced as a stand alone treatment.
Massage cupping therapy options include: back treatment, rejuvenating face treatment, foot massage/reflexology and calf treatment, sciatic treatment or

Reiki is an energy therapy technique of Japanese origin used for relaxation, stress reduction and healing. The practitioner’s hands are in contact with or held close to your body to channel Universal energy resulting in feeling grounded and centered.

Sound therapy is a complementary therapy that uses various tuning fork tones to enhance the healing effects of energy therapy practices. Tuning forks may be used off or on the body, depending on the type of session.

Note: Most techniques can also be done in 30-minute or 45-minute session lengths.

About Your Appointment: Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are running late, a call is appreciated. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give as much advance notice as possible. A minimum of 24 hour notice is requested for cancellation/rescheduling. In case of emergencies such as illness, a personal/family emergency or bad weather, please call as soon as possible.
Initial Appointment: For your first appointment at Healing Arts, please arrive 5 - 10 minutes prior to your service. A client intake form will be provided at that time or you may download the Healing Arts intake form. Please advise of all medical conditions, surgeries and allergies, as this will ensure the best service using the appropriate techniques and products.
To enhance your service, please remove all jewelry and silence your cell phone. For an optimal experience you may choose to relax in silence during your session. With the exception of Swedish Massage, please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the client intake form.
Payment is due at the time of your service. Healing Arts accepts Checks, Cash, Credit Cards and Sigourney Dollars.
