Shiatsu or "finger pressure" massage, addresses the acupressure points along the meridians that flow throughout the body. The aim is to assist the body's natural healing process by encouraging the body's energy to move into a more balanced state. Cupping Therapy uses various vacuum cups to utilize negative pressure, rather than tissue compression, to increase blood flow to skin and muscles, release rigid soft tissues, lift connective tissue, loosen adhesions, and drain excess fluids and toxins. Cupping therapy is typically used as part of an Integrated Bodywork session.

Please call in advance to schedule your appointment. Late afternoon appointment times are popular, so please call well in advance to if you wish to schedule an appointment after 3:30 p.m.
Initial Appointment: For your first appointment at Healing Arts, a client intake form will be provided at that time or you may download the Healing Arts intake form. Please advise of all medical conditions, surgeries and allergies, as this will ensure the best service using the appropriate techniques and products. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the client intake form.
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you! Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are running late, a call is appreciated. Please give as much advance notice as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment. A minimum 24 hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. (Exclusions are feeling unwell/ill, a personal/family emergency or adverse weather conditions. Please notify Healing Arts as soon as possible.)
To enhance your service, please remove all jewelry and silence your cell phone. For an optimal experience you may choose to relax in silence during your session. Bodywork and energywork are done while you remain clothed. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
