Life Casting
The process, called life casting, uses alginate (a non-toxic product derived from seaweed) applied directly on your body to create a mold. The mold is filled with hard-setting LiquiStone plaster to create a beautiful and durable piece of artwork.

For example, to make a sculpture of your hand:

• You would first choose a pose.
• Alginate is applied to your hand, or your hand is submerged in a container of alginate.
• The pose is held until the alginate is set   (approx. 5-7 minutes).
• You remove your hand from the alginate mold and your participation is complete.
The mold is then filled with Liquistone.
• Your one-of-a-kind sculpture will be ready in 1 to 2 weeks.
